Helios Fire Systems is pleased to announce the latest member of the team, Andy Doran who joins as National Sales Manager. Andy joins with a wealth of experience in sales of spark detection and explosion protection systems that complement the recently expanded HFS product portfolio.
Andy has previously worked selling firefighting simulation trainers to the fire services and then a decade in sales positions, at competitors offering similar detection and protection systems to Helios. With his expert working knowledge in these areas, he often found his customers also required fire protection solutions suitable for different applications, such as AMFE within electrical equipment or ATFS turret extinguishing systems.
He says of his appointment: “I’m delighted to be joining the Helios team – I already knew the business through word of mouth in my previous roles. In joining Helios, I now offer customers fire protection options across their entire enterprise, whether that be large manufacturing equipment or small electrical components. Helios offers that portfolio and on-site expertise and it’s my job to stay up to date with the latest legislation like DSEAR (Dangerous Substance and Explosion Atmospheres Regulations), ATEX and new HSE directives.
